Kristen Stewart, sumergida en la vida de Lady Di para su nueva película, ‘Spencer’: “No he estado así de emocionada por hacer un papel en mucho tiempo”
La actriz habló de los desafíos que le ha presentado interpretar a la Princesa de Gales incluso antes de comenzar los rodajes.
Kristen Stewart (30) saltó a la fama mundial interpretando a Isabella ‘Bella’ Swan, la atormentada adolescente que se enamoraba perdidamente del vampiro bueno en la saga Crepúsculo.
Más de 10 años después de la primera entrega de la saga, la actriz ya tiene en su haber varios proyectos más, como la nueva versión de Los Ángeles de Charlie y una película navideña que estrenará este año.
Sin embargo, lo que le quita el sueño es su próximo proyecto. Spencer es un film sobre la Princesa Diana y tocará las circunstancias que la llevaron a separarse del Príncipe Carlos.
Representar a alguien tan reconocido y recordado como Lady Di no está siendo tarea fácil para la actriz. Encarnar a Diana en la película del chileno Pablo Larraín fue descrito por ella como el sueño de un fanático, o una pesadilla. Sobre su preparación para el filme, Stewart habló con la revista InStyle y se refirió a esta producción como un gran desafío.
Si bien hablar como el personaje es sumamente importante, la intérprete ha ido mucho más allá para poder entenderla. Quien diera vida a Blancanieves reveló estar leyendo todo el material que puede sobre Lady Di, porque más allá de sentirse intimidada por el rol, admite que es el más interesante que le haya tocado personificar.
“En términos de investigación he leído dos biografías y media, y estoy terminando el material antes de hacer la película. Es una de las historias más tristes que existen y no quiero solamente interpretar a Diana, quiero conocerla implícitamente. No he estado así de emocionada por hacer un papel en mucho tiempo“, admitió
Spencer va a contar la historia de un viaje de 3 días que la Princesa de Gales hizo a una de las haciendas de la Reina Isabel. Su director, Pablo Larraín, decidió contar una historia sobre la identidad de Diana.
“Decidimos embarcarnos en una historia sobre la identidad y sobre cómo una mujer decide, de alguna manera, no ser reina. En el transcurso de la película decide y se da cuenta de que quiere ser la mujer que era antes de conocer a Carlos”, reveló el director.
